I’ve been diving deep into hormonal health lately, which has impacted me personally. Hormonal balance is crucial to our overall health and well-being, especially regarding skin health. I’m passionate about helping others find balance, both inside and out, so I wanted to share my best tips with you.

Let’s dive into this week’s topic, where I share my 7 steps to achieve better hormonal balance. Hormonal imbalances can disrupt your skin’s natural function, but with a few changes, you can help restore harmony in your body.

Follow these tips for improved hormonal balance:

1. Get Good Sleep

Make sure you’re getting 8 hours of sleep each night, and try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. While you sleep, your body works to restore its functions.

2. Exercise and Stay Active

Exercise regularly, aiming for at least 30 minutes a day. Interval training is especially beneficial for hormonal imbalances.

3. Meditate and Breathe Deeply

Take time each day to meditate and practice deep breathing. Don’t forget to carve out some “me-time” every now and then. Relaxation helps your hormones function more effectively.

4. Lower Your Expectations

Ease up on yourself and let go of perfectionism. Focus on doing your best, keep a smile on your face throughout the day, and don’t forget to give yourself credit for your accomplishments.

5. Eat a Healthier Diet

Incorporate healthy fats like avocado, coconut oil, nuts, hemp, olive oil, and omega-3s. Your hormones need fat to function properly, and these fats can also help reduce dry skin and balance acne. Add more vegetables to your plate to nourish the good bacteria in your gut—a healthy gut is the key to glowing skin!

6. Drink Pure Water

Hydrate your body and skin by drinking at least 10 glasses of water a day, especially between meals. If you exercise, you may need even more.

7. Clear Out Your Bathroom Cabinet

Remove skincare products that contain synthetic chemicals, as these can disrupt your sensitive hormonal system. The same goes for cleaning and laundry products.

Which one are you going to start with?
