Hi!
I hope you enjoy the summer and the sun and as an entrepreneur, I always get my morning exercise wherever Im.
Today, Im going to write about how to get in shape with 3 simple steps.
3 easy steps to get fit!
Flyers and flashing ads online want you to buy their tips for the latest weight loss trends that promise you excellent results with little or no effort. I would say that it is our “fast-corrected” society and very good marketing that has made us unhealthy in the first place. Many people spend lots of money to lose weight fast, but the same weight loss plan may not work for everyone. We are all individuals and have different conditions.
To find the type of exercise that suits you, it is important to ask yourself 3 questions. By answering these questions, you will succeed with your training, and above all, the key is to find continuity and do it in small steps until it becomes a habit, then the result will be on the purchase!
1. What kind of exercise and activity do you like?
If you don’t like what you do, you won’t stick to it! There is a great risk that you will fail. Start with exercises you enjoy, and then try to integrate new things as you go along.
What makes me happy is water, the forest, and my jetty, where I get rewarded by meditating after I run. On the bridge, I do exercises that I feel good about and make my butt get a little tighter, and my stomach feels good! 🙂 Feel free to use nature now in the summer. You can also take the opportunity to exercise when you are cleaning in the garden or why not take a swim? There are lots of easy ways you can exercise, even if you don’t think about it. If you love your movement, chances are you will continue. What do you like about exercise?
2. How do you make exercise a routine?
To get the exercise in as a habit, you need to work out every day for 28 days. That’s how I started! I started running a shorter lap each morning, and when that lap was around, I challenged myself to run a little longer each day. Now I would miss it if I didn’t run every morning 🙂
It can be a challenge to find time to work out when everyday life is in full swing with work and family life. For me, it´s best to go for a run at 6 am every morning. The best thing you can do is to move for at least 30 minutes every day. Plan it in the calendar when you need to. It makes it easier and to consider them as important as meeting someone else. Or make spend less time in front of Youtube or the TV when the kids have gone to bed! The fewer obstacles there are, the more success you will have as you begin and continue with your exercise routine. Get yourself a training buddy who can cheer on each other. When should you exercise during the week?
3. What training are you closest to?
Simplicity and what is closest are usually the best! You do not need the worst equipment or complex training movements to get a good workout. You don’t need any equipment at all. For example, squats, planks, push-ups, side kicks, and quick walks can deliver a challenging workout. The key is consistency and good patience so you do the exercises continuously. Is jumping on the bike easier than taking the car to work? Is there an outdoor gym where you live? Is there a forest to walk near you? How do you find the closest workout?
Start by figuring out a workout form that you like to do. Can you make it near where you live? Then you set your training times in the calendar. Last but not least – do it and enjoy it!
If your exercise plan is rewarding, simple and fits into your life, you will stick to it. I usually tell my students that small steps become big steps and a combination with healthy nutrition and close training you reach your goals!
Love, Johanna
